LCR Christmas Dove Tree 2008

Once again, the ladies of WELCA are adopting several local families in need this holiday season. WELCA asks the congregation to please help in offering these families gifts of basic needs, namely food and clothing, to provide them with a warmer and more comfortable Christmas.

Look for the "Dove Tree" in the LCR lounge. The tree holds paper doves, each listing a food or clothing item which you can take and buy for a family. Each Sunday, Ingrid Turner or Lorna Lee will be available in the lounge to record the items on the dove(s) you are taking. It's a wonderful, anonymous way to glorify the name of Christ by extending a warm hand to someone in need.

Please pre-wrap your gifts and firmly attach dove with family/size info.
