Resurrection Drama Ministry

In Search of Buck

On October 22, 2006, Resurrection's Drama Ministry proudly presented another fine act entitled In Search of Buck. Starring Luke Schultheis as Vic Diamond and Natalie Macri as Doris Spent, the piece was a 1940's detective-genre skit about money management. As Christians we must remember that all we have belongs to God. What we have has been given to us by God. God wants faithful stewards who use their blessings wisely and give cheerfully to advance His kingdom and His work.

Luke 6:38 tells us: Give and it shall be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” God wants us to be disciplined with our money, but he also wants us to give generously and cheerfully. When we give our time, our talents, and our tithes to Him
we are assured of an eternal reward that can never be taken from us.

The Drama Ministry began in Fall 2005 and is actively growing. It is another way that LCR uses inspiration and creativity to stir the hearts of the congregation to experience and be touched by God. We are seeking new and fresh faces to join our team. There is plently of room for anyone who has an interest! Ideally, we would like to offer a drama once per month, so come help us make it happen!
