Jesus’ followers were quick to call upon the promised renewing Spirit of Jesus after His Ascension into heaven. The festival of Pentecost celebrates the Spirit of God with us today. (John 14:8-27)
(Note: Sunday School will not be held today. There will be a memorial tree planting to honor Margot Johns following worship.)
Margot Johns Memorial Fund
Donations to the Margot Johns Memorial Fund may be made to LCR. Donations will
be used to fund the memorial tree planting which follows worship on Sunday, May 27.

event with artists, food and entertainment.

 Pajama Movie Night
Friday, June 8, 6:30-9pm
LCR is hosting a Pajama Movie Night (for kids ages 7 and up) to benefit children in need. Come in your PJs and bring your favorite blanket, pillow and a friend to see a movie and help a needy child. Wrap up a new pair of pajamas and a new children’s book and label with gender and size. Snacks and refreshments provided. For more info or to RSVP, contact Lucy Vlock at 914-244-3068.
