LCR Men's Ministry

Gets Balance, Breakfast

Guest Rev. Mack Smith, addressing
the first meeting of the LCR Men's
Ministry, shares his philosophy on
"WHAT MAKES A MAN?":

· Put God first.
· Seek God’s guidance.
· Always give thanks to God.
· Put your past behind you.
· Put total trust in the Lord.

The Reverend Mack Smith of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Wyandanch, NY was the guest speaker at LCR's first Men’s Ministry Breakfast.
His topic, “Getting Balance in Our Lives,” provided meaningful "food for thought" for the men and
teens who attended.

Trinity Lutheran’s Deacon Eugene Townsend was
on hand to lend spiritual support and the occasional shout of “Amen!” which added excitement to Smith’s lecture. The power of positive energy was in the room and the men left the meeting feeling
revitalized and strong by the message that they
had experienced.

Reverend Smith, who has served for the past 24 years as Pastor of Trinity Lutheran, has, through his ministry, focused on empowering individuals to seek personal management skills to achieve goals.

LCR welcomes our new Men’s Ministry, which will meet periodically and sponsor activities supporting spiritual growth, fathering, mentoring, and exploring life purpose
in Christ. All men confirmation age and up are invited to join.
