Vacation Bible School: July 17-21, 2006

Lutheran Church of the Resurrection was transformed into a Mexican village for
Vacation Bible School this summer. Cactuses, piñatas, maracas, parrots, chili peppers, sombreros, Mexican blankets, and much more greeted close to 70 children from the community and 30 volunteers each morning the week of July 17-21.

Children experienced Bible stories that illustrated Jesus as our life, friend, helper, leader, and Savior through drama skits, crafts, snacks, songs, and games. Each day they took home daily challenges that encouraged them to share God’s love.

VIVA! And thanks to everyone who helped!
