Welcome to LCR!
Welcome to the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection (affectionately known as LCR). We have been part of the community of Mount Kisco for over 75 years, starting as a “house-church” and growing to become an active faith community with a church home at the corner of routes 117 and 172 (across from Northern Westchester Hospital Center).
We are a church that welcomes all people. We seek to share the love and grace of God with every person we encounter. We take the care of one another and our community seriously, offering support for those within our walls and those throughout the wider community, both locally and worldwide. On any day, you will find the people of this congregation praying with one another in the chapel or bringing a casserole to someone in need. You will find us handing out food at the local food pantry and sledding down hills as a buddy to a developmentally disabled partner. During the week you will find the hallways of the church bustling with children who are in a preschool that the church started over ten years ago to teach both school readiness and the unconditional love of God. On Sunday morning, you will find us joined together in joyous worship and learning, being strengthened by the Word to do Christ's work in the world.
LCR strives to be a place where the love of Christ is proclaimed, then lived out in word and deed. Join us on our journey.
